Our Story

Bohoreina is an independent, handmade, one woman show, jewelry brand, emerged in early 2015 by designer Liron Etzion. Bohoreina is the heart and soul of an artist who is passionate about beauty in small details, and the story captured within of them.

Bohoreina designs are inspired from Liron's travels all around the world, from mysterious, ancient cultures and architecture, forms of landscapes and pristine nature, and unique individual lifestyles, that I (Liron) have been lucky to cherish and whom have influenced me on this journey of life.  

My designs aesthetic is a reflection of my experiences,
offering a unique range of modern-bohemian treasury, celebrating femininity including precious natural crystals & diamonds set in fine metals.

My hunt for unique jewelry pieces started when I was young and used to Steal from my mother's closet my grandmother's antique jewelry from Germany ( Sorry Mom- I LOVE YOU).

Than, throughout my travels I used to sit hours and hours on the roads with gypsies, gaining knowledge of their handicrafts: macrame, wire wrapping, beading and crocheting techniques. I started crafting along the way to whomever desired a little treasury with what I had in hand.

My goldsmith journey started from receiving custom requests
that I have agreed to craft without knowing how.. My dear friend Rotem Fishler gave me private lessons for over a year and made me practice... a lot!! and so, throughout the years I met some
incredible artists that from each I have learned and progressed, to this day. I enjoy studying and exploring more abilities and knowledge
from variety of artistic professions, I can feel how it impacts my soul and therefor also my designs.

For example, I have been working for six years in the backstage costume department of Batsheva dance company and stylist assistant in the local fashion industry, both have grown me to embrace the beauty in movement and seeing the big picture that can be achieved from every small detail.

Today, My working methods combines mostly traditional goldsmith techniques alongside with lost wax carving.

All my jewelry designs are made from me to you with love and attention to every small detail, collaborated when needed with professional craftsman of our local industry.

I source my crystals from across the globe, using natural semi-precious and precious stones many of which are hand cut especially for BOHOREINA designs.

BOHOREINA Studio (my little temple) is located in Florentine, south of Tel-aviv, in what used to be an old industrial warehouse, and today we have adapted it to be a loving home for six artists and myself, we each have our own workspace for different types of art. The building is old, dusty and there is no air conditioner but the vibe is Irreplaceable family harmony.

Bohoreina Showroom

An intimate BOHOREINA-Showroom is located at the Jaffa greek-market area.

My showroom features BOHOREINA designs from all the collections, a Rental service and a luxurious, wonderful collection of gemstones from all over the world, available for you to choose for a customized jewelry piece.

Meetings at the showroom are by appointment.
